A new propaganda video purportedly released by the Islamic State shows an alleged Chechen Federal Security Service spy named Khasiev Magomid beheaded in the terrorist capital of Raqqa, Syria.
A senior FSB official in Moscow has called the claims of Magomid being an FSB agent as “baseless.” Reuters reports that officially, the government in Moscow has not listed any of their citizens as being held captive by ISIS. There has not been any official reaction from the Russian security forces or foreign ministry.
The video was released on December 2, 2015 and is titled “You Shall be Disappointed and Humiliated O Russians.” It can be viewed above. We are working on obtaining a full English translation. In the video, Magomid says before being killed that he is 23-years-old and from the Chechen city of Grozny, in one of Russia’s most disputed zones.
